I would love to win this for another school. The Spinney is a National Teaching School – our children learnt phonics last year through Story Time Phonics. 100% of our Year 1s achieved the National Phonics Screening Check in June (the first time ever in our school!) We are going to use Story Time Phonics again this year!! The children love it, the teachers too and the parents!! Children see the connection between the new phonemes they encounter at school alongside the real books. The real books are ones by famous, brilliant authors and are books that they have at home that they can then access. It is is a wonderful authentic sustaining continuum and we love it! Thanks Michelle and TTS!
